Frome Town Council is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Town Centre Coordinator to enhance the town centre experience and encourage greater footfall.
The Role:
As Town Centre Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving initiatives that improve the appearance, vibrancy, and functionality of Frome’s town centre. You’ll work closely with local businesses, venues, and other key stakeholders to coordinate projects, encourage collaboration, and bring positive change to our thriving community.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Developing and implementing an Action Plan to enhance the town centre’s
appearance and appeal.
• Acting as a key point of contact for businesses, venues, and other
stakeholders, addressing challenges and identifying opportunities.
• Supporting local regeneration projects that improve public spaces and boost
footfall.
• Fostering collaboration between businesses to encourage growth and
development.
• Exploring funding opportunities and the potential for a Business Improvement
District.
• Gathering and analysing data to track the town centre’s performance and
identify trends.
• Coordinating solutions for sustainable waste management and improved
recycling facilities.
What We’re Looking For:
• Knowledge of town centre management and economic development.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, self-motivated, and problem-solving mindset.
• The ability to manage projects, budgets, and multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• A passion for making Frome an even better place to live, work, and visit!
