Summary

Wykes O’Donnell Williams, a well-established solicitors practice, is seeking an experienced and professional Legal Secretary to join our busy team in Ilkeston for 3 days a week. This is a key supporting role for two fee earners in our Family Law and Conveyancing Departments.

Responsibilities:
• Accurate, speedy and efficient audio and copy typing.
• Handling client enquiries, both in person and by telephone.
• File management and diary coordination.
• Maintaining our client database.
• Assisting with general office duties as required.

Requirements:
• Proven experience in a legal secretarial role, preferably with a background in family law and, ideally, conveyancing.
• Familiarity with the Court or Land Registry portal system would be an advantage.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with a proactive, flexible approach.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
