Fire & Security Project Manager
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to oversee UK projects within the fire and security industry. This role involves managing installations, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery, and maintaining high standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire and security systems, along with a proven ability to manage projects effectively from start to finish.
Basic Salary: Up to £52,000 per annum
Vehicle / Vehicle Allowance: £525 per month (subject to candidate preference)
Additional Benefits: Pension, Life Assurance, and more
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the timely and budget-compliant delivery of all projects.
- Review and manage technical and contractual elements of project files.
- Develop and monitor work bank forecasts to achieve monthly budget targets.
- Select and manage subcontract labour, direct resources, and suppliers.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, and subcontractors for planning and execution.
- Attend site meetings and visit regional offices as required.
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance, including conducting tool box talks, audits, and reporting accidents or near misses.
- Ensure Environmental Compliance in relation to waste disposal and returns of transfer notes.
- Perform additional management duties relevant to your expertise.
Requirements: We are looking for individuals who are dedicated, proactive, and passionate about delivering quality service. Ideal candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Fire & Security Project Management.
- Proven ability to manage projects, ensuring they meet budget and time expectations.
- Strong technical knowledge of fire and security systems.
- Excellent commercial awareness and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and work well under pressure.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive problem solver.
- Full, UK Driver's License.
