We are currently recruiting for Field Engineer to join our busy Engineering Team assisting with the service and maintenance of plant equipment and vessels within our Marine Farms on the Isle of Mull.

THE ROLE

The Field Engineer will work closely with our farming teams to ensure that full maintenance and repairs of all critical equipment are completed to help keep downtime to a minimum.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You should be a time served mechanic or hold a relevant engineering qualification. Experience working with the following: marine vessels, generating sets, inboard diesel engines, outboard engines, forklifts and small plant would be beneficial, but training will be provided for the right candidate. You should have excellent communication and organisational skills with a positive ‘hands on’ attitude.

A full UK driving license is essential for this role as you will be expected to travel throughout our travel between sites to provide our Farm Managers with technical support and guidance whilst ensuring health and safety compliance and safe systems of work are in place at all times.
