Carbon60 are working with a globally recognised leader in aircraft maintenance and landing gear manufacturing, who are are looking for an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join their on a full-time permanent basis.

Overview of the Role:

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be the main liaison for global customers, ensuring smooth communication and the efficient management of MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) events.

You will play a crucial role in customer relationship management, event coordination, and quality oversight, working closely with internal stakeholders across production, engineering, logistics, and finance.

This is a fast-paced role within a customer-facing team that supports airlines, aircraft leasing companies, and component traders, helping to maintain and modernise landing gear assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring timely resolution of queries and concerns.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external customers, organising meetings and visits as needed.
  • Monitor and report on the status of MRO events, ensuring timely updates for all stakeholders.
  • Oversee the induction and management of landing gear MRO events, collaborating with internal teams to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Manage customer complaints and warranty claims, working closely with quality and documentation teams to resolve issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhanced service delivery.
  • Assist with billing and invoicing, ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer accounts.

Essential Skills & Requirements:

  • Proven experience in customer service management, ideally within the aviation or MRO industry.
  • Knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • A customer-focused mindset, with a drive for continuous improvement.

Please note: This role requires the right to live and work in the UK unrestricted. Some international travel may be required on short notice.
