Title: TIG Welder / TIG Welder/Fabricator The Best Connection Group Limited are hiring for an experienced Tig Welder for our well established client based in South Birmingham. This could lead to a permanent position after a successful trial period.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication of catering equipment from steel.
The role will involve reading technical drawings and applying your welding expertise to create high-quality components.
*Experience in stainless steel is essential!!*
Key Responsibilities: Reading and interpreting technical drawings for welding projects. Fabricating catering equipment from stainless steel. Performing TIG welding tasks to a high standard. Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations. You will be required to pulse using a foot pedal. Welding between 2ml-5ml. Requirements: Proven experience in TIG welding, particularly with steel. Ability to read and understand technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and precision. Time keeping and attendance is really important to this client so make sure you are reliable and punctual. Hours of work: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 15:30 Pay Rate: £14ph - £15ph based on experience Benefits: Competitive pay rate based on experience. Ongoing position with the opportunity for a permanent role after a successful trial period. *You will be required to do a weld test, so please bring your weld mask to this*
