It is advisable to refer to this when submitting your application for the post.Job PurposeTo provide flexible support for an energetic teenage boyLocation Old Catton, NR6Job DetailsI am seeking a flexible Personal Assistant to support my son with activities in the home and out in the community once or twice monthly for 5-6 hour sessions at weekends or during school holidays. He is an active 14 year old with a learning disability which leads him to having some communication issues. At times he can suffer with anxiety so will need calm and understanding support, but he is happy and loves going out. He enjoys crafts, games and bowling.Required Characteristics
- Flexible and reliable
- Experience with young people
- Energetic
- Driver with own car and relevant class of business insurance an advantage
- The rate of pay for this position is £12.38 per hour
- Hours of work: 5-6 hours monthly / fortnightly, flexible and times to be discussed at interview
- 5.6 weeks per year pro-rata paid leave, inclusive of bank holidays

- A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
- Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months
