Job PurposeI am a vulnerable lady with a learning disability looking for a Personal Assistant to help me with day to day living as well as accessing community safely. I am relatively independent but need support with prompts and guidance on how to complete tasks. I am a very routine person and require structure in my days. I like going swimming, to the shops in the city and visiting the cinemaLocation: Norwich, NR8 Details:Providing prompts to encourage completing tasksSupport with personal careSupport with preparing foodAccompanying me on outings into the communityPerson specificationEssential:Honest and reliableCaring and understandingFriendly and fun lovingUK driving license and the associated Business InsuranceFemale carer preferred due to the personal care componentDesirable:Experience of supporting someone with learning disabilitySummary terms and conditions· The rate of pay for this position is £12.38 per hour· Hours and times of work:16 hrs weekly, usually Tues & Weds. Start of the day is 08:00 and finish at 16:00. The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeksThe post is subject to the following:· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer· Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 monthsServicesMeal preparationPersonal careDomestic dutiesSocial and leisure activitiesSupport to remain independentSafeguarding adults/childrenTransportationFull UK driving licenseOwn personal carAppropriate class of motor Insurance
