We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Operative to join our friendly team at our Linford Block Plant, which is located close to Stanford-le-Hope in Essex. The site is easily accessible from Tilbury, Gravesend, Rochester, Gillingham, Dartford, Purfleet on Thames, Grays, Wickford, Southend-on-Sea, Basildon, Brentwood, Billericay and the surrounding areas.
Our Linford Plant manufactures sustainable, tough and energy efficient aerated blocks that we see all around us, whether this be in our homes or our work environments, you are never too far away from one of our products.

Main Responsibilities
As the successful Facilities Operative,you will ensure all operational areas of the factory meet current 5s standards whilst ensuring all amenities and communal areas that serve the factory are maintained to a high standard. You will provide resource to clean factory equipment and frames to return to operationally good standards
On a day to day basis, duties and responsibilities for the Facilities Operative will include (not exhaustive):
- Supporting the maintenance teams to ensure areas are clean prior to engineering works
- Providing mobile plant support where required to either stage materials or remove as requested by the production managers
- Providing support for Maintenance Day cleaning tasks where required for both operational and engineering functions
- Responding to Safety reports or concerns where housekeeping improvement is required
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal Facilities Operativewill have (or have a willingness to develop) mobile plant operation, a willingness to learn and take on new tasks, alongside previous experience within a hands on role.
