Personal Assistant required to support a male aged 19 years of age who lives in Chester le street area.

The person is a very football orientated Sunderland fan and loves to chat about this subject a lot.
His other interests are ten pin bowling, trains, loves the metro, football training, and also fast food places.

Due to the following:- Learning, ADHD and Autism disabilities, he will need help with general life skills, which he can do but needs more help in getting on a bus and paying for things and going to new places to develop his confidence, independence as well as new interests.

Hours /WageHours per week are as follows:-Term time - 10 hours usually Thursdays & Fridays (this can be discussed)After 9:00 to 4:30pm as a guide.Non term time - 15 hours. This could be anytime Monday-Friday, 9:00 to 4:30pm or evenings as a guide. (also can be discussed)

Wages are £12 per hour.

DutiesTake him on days out, maybe have a kick about with a football, encourage everyday life and get him out and about in the community.

Additional Requirements/InformationHe is a good person at heart but patience is required, he can be demanding, finds it hard to understand at times.

Best suited for a person who has the experience in these areas of disabilities.

The position is not essential to require a car or driver but would be preferred.

If required the person may need to provide some of the care in their own home.


Enhanced DBS will be needed, employer will cover the cost.
