What skills and experience we're looking for
The PE Department at Priory is a successful team of 5 led by an experienced Curriculum Leader focused on fostering competitive sport and participation. We deliver a full PE core curriculum to year 7-11, and offer our KS4 students BTEC sport. In addition to this there are various after school sports activities that we encourage students to participate in.
The PE team is dedicated to supporting each other and our students to enable them to thrive, develop and succeed. The department benefits from extensive facilities, close links with other Trust and local schools, and a dedicated high quality CPD programme.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has a passion for PE and the positive impact this subject can have on young people
• Has the ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons
• Is skilled at fostering independent and collaborative student-led learning

We do this by offering a diverse range of sports opportunities including after school and break time clubs, competing against local and Trust schools and creating a supportive and inclusive environment. We want to ignite a passion in our students to take up sports for life and we continuously strive to ensure they enjoy and achieve in this area. There has been significant investment in facilities recently, and we have a state of the art sports centre with indoor cricket nets and multisports zones, additionally there is a full size 3G Astro pitch along with other indoor and outdoor facilities.
