Complies with documentation standards and is aware of importance of Data Protection Act, and the legal and clinical implications ofrecord keeping. Acts in accordance with Staff Charter and Code of Conduct. Is aware of and implements Trust and Departmental Policies and Procedures. Works as an autonomous Physiotherapist. Recognises own role and works within role as part of department and multi-disciplinary team (MDT). Has the ability to review personal competencies/practice through effective use of supervision and appraisal of self. Deputises for Band 7 physiotherapist for agreed periods of time and in specified circumstances. Understands the complaints procedure and the need for reporting, and local resolution. Demonstrates effective and assertive behaviour in confrontational and moderately complex situations. Balances clinical and non-clinical commitments with minimal support Demonstrates an awareness and understanding of current issues around Physiotherapy within health and social care.
