The Project Support Officer role is a key position within both the Service Improvement and Digital Transformation Teams, in which the post holder will provide efficient and effective project and administrative support to senior staff in the planning, delivery and reporting of projects. The post holder will also frequently lead, offering support to senior staff and responding to the needs of the project, to support the delivery of Trust strategic priorities.

The post holder will provide project management support, leading on small to medium sized projects alongside administration and project support for large and complex projects. They will act as a key link to the Service Improvement and Digital Transformation teams and will support the realisation of project benefits through reporting and delivery.

The post holder is required to work autonomously to produce all aspects of project documentation, including reports that will be shared at an executive level, and to prioritise work to support delivery of several work programmes concurrently. They will use a variety of communication styles to effectively converse with both senior staff, external contractors and patients on a regular basis.

The post holder will be using a variety of systems and applications along with hard analysis skills to extrapolate intelligence from data to inform projects and improvement approaches.
