Crynodeb
The SLA and Facilities Officer for the Nelson Personnel Centre (NPC) HMS Nelson works for the Deputy Local Service Commander and is responsible for her delivery of the oversight of all local accommodation policy across the Portsmouth Port Area (within the constraints of JSPs 315 and 464) as it relates to single living accommodation. The post holder is also responsible for the day to day management of SLA within HMS Nelson.
The post is also including the responsibility as the Intelligent Customer for the accommodation services for the NPC including the Wardroom and all Office areas.
It is Essential that candidates have a Working knowledge of IT and a full UK driving licence as this post will require some travel between establishments within the port area.
The key responsibilities of the post:
To fulfil line management/divisional responsibilities in accordance with the relevant guidelines and timescales and to meet CoB and NBC Business Plan objectives.
Act as the Naval Base Intelligent Customer for services provided by the Facilities Managers (Sodexo Help desk). This role is responsible for authorisation of KPIs for Accommodation Services and maintenance and cleaning,
Oversight of SLA within the Portsmouth port area (Nelson, Sultan, Collingwood, Excellent) to maximise SLA usage by clear direction, prioritisation and audit processes.
Minimise the use of substitute accommodation.
Risk assess individuals displaced from their nearest accommodation to their unit.
Audit all units to check for entitlement IAW DIA Office guidance.
Develop, lead and maintain a pro-active partnering relationship with contract staff to ensure a quality service and value for money service is provided. Oversee regular meetings with accommodation teams, to meet data gathering requirements and requests from staff of the FM for management and financial information
