About the role

This is an exciting new position to join our Product family within Tesco Technology!

This role sits within Store Operations and specifically within the Colleague Safety & Security team. Abuse against retail workers is at record levels, with colleagues turning up to work being the victim of verbal abuse, physical assault and threatened with weapons. Our mission is to prevent and mitigate these incidents, so that ultimately every colleague is and feels safe at their place of work.

This is an exciting time to join us with the opportunity to enhance products through identifying & documenting requirements where you will be contributing to design, executing business acceptance testing & supporting workarounds.

You will be responsible for

  • Relentlessly seek to understand the needs and pains of my customers and business stakeholders
  • Work with an experienced team and peers to develop shared and ambitious OKRs
  • Prioritise roadmaps with multiple optimisation criteria and decisively resolve trade-offs with peers and senior leaders
  • Proactively partner with my peers and senior stakeholders to set the future direction of my product as part of the wider business strategy
  • Contribute in capability and capacity planning for Product Management to provide clarity and stability

You will need

  • Knowledge and experience of product management best practice & methodologies within hardware or Infrastructure.
  • An appetite to learn the craft of product management and a customer-centric mindset
  • Interest in Technology within the Grocery Retail industry
