Apprentice Manufacturing Butcher
We are a leading catering butcher in Fife. We are suppliers to many of the most prestigious hotels and restaurants in the area, and are looking to recruit an apprentice butcher, to be trained in all aspects of butchery, sausage manufacturing, bacon curing, pudding making, health and safety and food safety. We will provide training in house and provide appropriate level training certificates. You will work alongside highly skilled master butchers and will learn how to trim beef, pork, lamb, and poultry to ensure all orders are processed correctly. Initial duties/ tasks to include meat preparation and cutting, burger manufacturing, sausage production, cleaning surfaces and equipment, receiving and storing deliveries in a factory environment. Please note that there is some heavy lifting involved.

Things to consider:
This can be a physically demanding role as you are on your feet during your shift.
It is a very active role.
You will be working in a controlled temperature environment.
Hours of work
39.5 hours over 5 days with a 6.30am start Monday – Thursday, 6.00am start Friday – Saturday.
Location
Own transport (car or bike) is essential due to our location and shift start (No public transport in the area.
