Ambitek is currently recruiting for Skilled Structural MIG Welders to join our client’s team in Winsford.
Job Overview:
As a Skilled Structural MIG Welder, you will be responsible for MIG welding structural beams and end-plates using solid wire MIG in the down-hand position. Candidates must be capable of performing a 10mm T-joint multi-run fillet weld with a start/stop.
Key Responsibilities:
MIG welding of structural beams and end-plates
Perform solid wire MIG welding in the down-hand position
Complete a 10mm T-joint multi-run fillet weld to a high standard
Ensure all welds meet the required quality and safety standards
Requirements:
Proven experience in structural MIG welding
Ability to complete a 10mm T-joint multi-run fillet weld with start/stop
Ability to pass a trades test before starting
Working Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 7:45am - 4:45pm
Friday: 7:45am - 12:45pm
Rates of Pay (CIS or Umbrella):
Basic: £19.85 per hour
Overtime: £27.03 per hour (after 39 hours worked)
