Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our client in Northwich.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MIG welding and metal fabrication, with the ability to read and work from engineering drawings to produce high-quality metal components and assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings and technical specifications
Perform MIG welding on structural steel
Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
Ensure all fabricated parts meet dimensional and quality standards
Conduct inspections and tests on completed products to ensure conformance
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
Proven experience in welding and fabrication
Ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings
Proficient in welding techniques
Strong attention to detail and quality
Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Hours of work:
Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 16:00
Friday 07:00 - 13:00
