Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

As our disrepair administrator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive top-notch service when it comes to housing repairs and disrepair claims. Sitting within the disrepair legal team, you’ll make sure everything runs like clockwork. From liaising with stakeholders and residents to keeping our systems up to date, your proactive approach will enhance processes and customer experiences alike. What you’ll do



  • Track and manage housing repairs and disrepair claims, ensuring swift resolutions for our customers.

  • Maintain accurate, real-time information across systems to keep operations running smoothly.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, residents, and external solicitors to build strong relationships.

  • Spot areas for improvement and suggest ideas that make a real difference.

  • Stay on top of housing regulations and ensure our processes meet compliance standards.

  • Provide wider admin support for the repairs and maintenance team when needed.

What you bring



  • Experience in housing management, repairs, or disrepair claims.

  • A sharp eye for detail and a knack for keeping records clear and accurate.

  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers and stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of housing regulations and a proactive, customer-focused mindset.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence working with various systems.

  • A problem-solving approach and a love for streamlining processes.

Job details



  • This is a Monday to Friday role.

  • You’ll manage your own diary, so if you need to work from home to take delivery of your new fridge or take a longer lunch for a haircut, you can use your flexi time to manage that!

  • You’ll spend two days a week at one of our offices and we ask that you split your in-office time between One Strawberry Lane in Newcastle and Belmont Park in Durham.

  • Able to use technology for updating records and communicating with colleagues, customers and legal professionals.
