Summary

Founded in 2013 by experienced researchers, Tapestry stands out from the crowd. As market researchers, we find out what consumers think as well as understanding the reasons behind it. Our study design takes a broad perspective, understanding both consumers and media, whilst our output takes the form of compelling reports and attractive infographics using sophisticated models and market simulators.

We have an exciting opportunity for a curious, enthusiastic and tenacious Research Executive to join our team, working on a wide variety of projects for our clients, providing support and input into core aspects of research studies, ensuring they are executed to the highest standards. Joining us with a keen interest in gaining information from numbers and data, you will develop essential skills across the research project life cycle, ultimately helping our clients to gain valuable insights from quantitative consumer data.

In this entry-level role, you will gain excellent experience in the world of commercial research. If you show ambition and aptitude, there will be opportunities to progress your career within the company.

About the role

As our Research Executive, you’ll play a supporting role in the set-up and management of projects, completing day-to-day project needs and project tasks as determined by your line manager and team leader, helping to ensure that studies run seamlessly from start to finish. You can look forward to a varied role, where no two days are the same! Your duties will include making/recording questionnaire changes, quality control of online surveys, liaising with survey scripters and data teams, managing fieldwork, managing data processing as required and contributing to outputs and reporting, as well as working with our senior team to help identify the main themes and insights from a study.

Over time, you’ll also take on responsibility for specific parts of our reports, helping to develop the story and present it in an interesting and straightforward style. You’ll attend client meetings, prepare briefs and respond to enquiries, ensuring an exceptional client relationship experience. You’ll have the opportunity to share knowledge and ideas, adding value to the research process and team environment!

About you

We’d like our Research Executives to be naturally driven, capable with numbers and able to demonstrate a genuine interest in research or data as well as the world around you - people, their behaviours and culture.

The project nature of this role requires effective teamwork and collaboration skills, building relationships and creating understanding with people across disciplines. With excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong eye for detail, you will be comfortable working with numbers, able to process, reflect and understand data. Any relevant work experience is a nice to have, but it’s certainly not essential!
