Our Mission: The Baked Bean Charity provides a wide variety of arts and skill-based educational services to adults and young people with a wide range of learning and physical disabilities and autism. These are delivered through high-quality student-centred workshops.
Are you an experienced not-for-profit Chief Executive Officer looking for your next step in a progressive and dynamic organisation? Do you believe in the abilities of those with a learning disability? Are you experienced in working with a Board of Trustees and happy to engage with multiple priorities including safeguarding, financial controls and business planning.
You will have a proven interest in supporting those with learning disabilities and in advancing student independence using the Arts as a medium.
Our Chief Executive Officer will be committed to our charity values of empowerment, equity, connection and creativity. You will be willing to challenge the status quo and support the senior management team and facilitators to maximize their potential for the benefit of the charity.
The role is office-based at Wilditch Community Centre in Battersea SW11 5BB. You will know how to forge and prioritise business plans and financial strategy for a small team of experienced charity professionals.
