We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Mentor to work closely with our dedicated team and make a real difference in the lives of our pupils.
The Role:
As a Behavior Mentor, you will:
Support pupils with behavioral, social, and emotional needs, ensuring they can fully engage with their learning.
Develop and implement individual behavior plans in collaboration with teachers, parents, and support staff.
Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to help pupils develop positive behaviours and coping strategies.
Act as a role model, fostering a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment.
Monitor and record progress, sharing updates with colleagues and families.
Collaborate with external agencies where necessary to provide additional support for pupils.
About You:
We are looking for someone who:
Has significant experience working with primary-aged children in a behavior support or similar role.
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
Is skilled in implementing behavior management strategies and promoting positive behavior.
Is proactive, empathetic, and resilient, with a passion for supporting children to achieve their full potential.
Holds relevant qualifications or training in behavior management, special educational needs, or child development (desirable).
