Your new role
Within the procurement team, you are responsible for providing support, advice, and assistance to other departments in its purchasing and procurement activities. You will also be ensuring all stakeholders use approved suppliers and follow correct processes, therefore increasing compliance with procurement policy and processes in key areas of the business. You will be taking on full ownership and be a subject-matter expert (SME) for the contract management system (CMS).
What you'll need to succeed
You will need specialised knowledge of procurement, contract law and regulations as well as proven experience procuring and managing IT software and services contracts. You will need to have procurement experience within the Financial Services sector. You will need to have experience ensuring all supplier contracts are correctly stored to ensure effective management and governance. You will have experience of testing of; system updates, reporting on supplier data to manage accuracy, governance activities, risk management and the renewal pipeline.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive salary, along with life assurance at 4x your base salary. You will also receive an employer pension contribution of 10%, providing you contribute 5%. Along with a generous annual leave entitlement, you are typically required to be in the office 1 day per week.
