The Procurement Specialist – Professional Services, will support the development of strategic initiatives pertaining to the BakerHicks professional services supply chain.
The Opportunity
As a Procurement Specialist will provide support to all departments and projects requiring professional services appointments during both the work-winning and project delivery phases. You will have had previous experience in a procurement/supply chain role as a member of a project delivery team within an engineering/construction environment.
You will support the Supply Chain Manager in the development of strategic agreements to support the business’ needs.
About You
Administer the procurement of subconsultant professional services appointments for the company’s projects
Support the legal team to amend / review contract terms and step-down main contract obligations to the supply chain
Administer the company’s prequalification system including the management of assessments in collaboration with the respective departments
Good knowledge of all commonly used model forms of contract for UK professional services, specifically the NEC suite, with additional knowledge of IChemE contracts desirable
High level of proficiency in the use of general Microsoft Office software i.e. Word, Excel, etc.
Chartered Membership of CIPS (MCIPS) with relevant experience
