Crynodeb
Experienced Multi-Skilled Joiner required in and around Northamptonshire, Rushen and the surrounding areas to work on repairs and property maintenance in tenanted and void properties on behalf of a local housing association. The duration is for 3 months work but could turn into a permanent role for the right candidate.
The Client
Our client is an award winning main contractor who specialises in regeneration projects and operates nationwide.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Experienced and skilled in Carpentry, Plumbing and Tiling
- 2nd Fix Joinery/Carpentry - replacing internal doors, architraves, skirtings, odd cupboard doors, boxing in pipes and replacing work tops
- Plumbing - Repairing Leaks, changing taps, replacing sink-trap-s
- Tiling - Replacing the odd tiles in kitchens and bathrooms
- Completing all duties required to a high standard and as per specification within the deadline
- Communicating daily with the site team/Supervisor effectively and raising any issues to the management team
- Using a PDA smart phone to update progress and showing completion of your work to colleagues
- Carrying out a duty of care when dealing with elderly and vulnerable tenants
The total hours are 40 per week, 8am - 4:30pm with a 30 minute break - Monday to Friday.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Multi-skilled Joiner
- Social housing experience
- Own Tools
- Full clean UK Driving Licence - Max 5 points
- Valid and Clean DBS Check - DBS must have been completed within the last 12 months OR be willing to obtain a DBS check prior to starting
- You must be able to provide 2 x check able references if you haven't worked with Fawkes & Reece before.
