We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Telephony Engineer PO5 to join our dynamic team. The Network Telephony Engineer will leverage their expertise in VoIP technology, SIP protocols, and network infrastructure to ensure seamless communication across our enterprise. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our telephony capabilities, resolve complex issues, and optimize performance. In addition to overseeing the deployment of telephony solutions, you will be responsible for monitoring system performance, implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and have a deep understanding of both the technical and operational aspects of network telephony systems. Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage VoIP and telephony systems within the organization.
Monitor and optimize the performance of telephony systems to ensure high availability and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network telephony issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with IT and network teams to integrate telephony solutions within existing infrastructure.
Implement and maintain security protocols to protect telephony networks from potential threats.
Conduct regular audits and assessments of telephony systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Provide technical support and training to staff on telephony systems and best practices for usage.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in network telephony engineering or related roles.
Strong knowledge of VoIP technologies, SIP protocols, and Call Management Systems.
Proficiency in network design and architecture, including familiarity with routers, switches, and firewalls.
Experience with telephony software such as Cisco Unified Communications Manager or Avaya solutions.
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
