Crynodeb
We have a great temporary to permanent opportunity available for an experienced and enthusiastic pre-delivery inspector/quality controller to join a company based in Grantham.
The successful candidate must have epxerience working in a similar role in an engineering setting/environment.
The working hours for this role are Monday to Thursday 7am-5.15pm giving you a three day weekend!
Reporting to the quality manager, your duties will include:
• · Conduct thorough inspections of finished products according to established procedures and quality standards.
• · Utilise appropriate inspection methods, including visual inspection ,dimensional checks and functional checks
• · Identify and document any defects or non-conformances found during inspection.
• · Use appropriate measuring and testing equipment accurately and safely.
• · Isolate and quarantine non-conforming products.
• · Work closely with production teams to resolve identified issues and prevent future occurrences.
• · Maintain accurate and up-to-date inspection records.
• · Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality systems and processes.
• · Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• · Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Required Skills and Experience:
• · Proven experience as a Pre-Delivery Inspector or in a similar quality control role.
• · Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies.
• · Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• · Experience using various measuring and testing equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• · Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• · Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• · Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• · Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• · Experience working within an ISO 9001 environment is preferred.
