Principal Job Purpose
Responsible to: Assistant Team Manager (Building Assets)
Responsible for: Arranging and managing all the statutory testing surveys for the authorities� buildings, to ensure full compliance with the regulations, (e.g. Asbestos re-inspections, mansafe system testing, safety glazing surveys, roller shutter doors and automatic doors servicing etc).
You will work within the building surveying team, and you must have knowledge in asbestos complaince.
The interview will be with the Assistant Manager of the buidling assets team that you will be working in, it will be in person at the General offices in Ebbw Vale W/C 22nd Jan, and last around 30mins, its a very informal process and is designed to see what kind of knowledge the candidiate has in respect to statutory testing.
We require someone who is able to manage all the statutory testing in all our council owned buildings, we have frameworks that you can use to award the work to the required contractors, and you will be responsible for aranging the testing for:
Asbestos, mansafe systems, roller shutter doors, automatic doors, safety glazing etc.
