Inventory Management & Purchasing Lead

Location: Denmark Hill, London
Department: Supply Chain
Salary Grade: £31,500 - £35,000 per annum + up to 12% bonus
Contract Type: Permanent




Role Overview:
As the Inventory Management & Purchasing Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency of our Purchase-to-Pay (P2P)
support service. You’ll oversee requisition processes, manage inventory to minimise waste, and influence end-users to standardise
and rationalise products. Collaborating with various teams, you’ll contribute to service improvement and the delivery of
exceptional healthcare support at King's College Hospital.




Key Responsibilities:

* Accurately process requisitions into Purchase Orders while identifying usage trends.
* Maintain up-to-date catalogues and ensure stock levels are effectively managed.
* Engage with suppliers and stakeholders to resolve queries and improve processes.
* Analyse usage reports, recommend cost-saving measures, and promote product standardization.
* Ensure compliance with Standing Financial Instructions (SFIs) and deliver high-quality customer service.
* Participate in stocktakes, cycle counts, and respond to product recalls.




What We’re Looking For:

* Education: Minimum GCSE C grade in English and Mathematics. A qualification in Procurement/Supply Chain is desirable.
* Experience:
* Proficient in using Purchase-to-Pay systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Familiarity with Procurement/Supply Chain procedures and catalogue management.
* Experience in a healthcare environment and using Inventory Management systems is advantageous.
* Skills & Attributes:
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Basic negotiation and data analysis abilities.
* Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and time management.
* Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and a team player.

We are looking to offer this role as either; a permanent role with KFM, or a 1 year secondment if you are currently employed by
KFM.
