We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Embroidery Operative to join our client's team in Watford. This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality craftsmanship. You will be responsible for operating embroidery machinery and ensuring that all products meet high-quality standards.

Job Title: Embroidery Operative

Location: Watford

Salary: Depending on experience

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am- 5:30pm

Key Responsibilities
• Operate and maintain embroidery machines to produce high-quality designs on garments and other materials.
• Prepare artwork and materials for embroidery, including loading designs into machines.
• Monitor machines during operation to ensure precision and quality.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products, making any necessary adjustments or corrections.
• Perform minor machine repairs and report major issues to the technical team.
• Keep the workspace clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Skills and Experience Required
• Previous experience in embroidery or garment production is essential.
• Proficiency in using industrial embroidery machines (e.g., Tajima, Barudan, or similar).
• Ability to interpret and work from design specifications and artwork.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
• Basic computer skills, especially for uploading and modifying embroidery designs.
• Good time management and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
