Location: Hemel Hempstead
Job Type: Full-Time OR Part-Time hours
Salary: £26-£27,000
Our client, an expanding electronics manufacturer, is looking to recruit two Production Operatives to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is hands-on, reliable, and has good attention to detail.
About the Role:
The successful production operative will carry out a range of tasks, including assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs) and programming electronic devices. Full training will be provided, but experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
Main Duties:
- Identifying and placing electronic components onto PCBs
- Removing PCBs from panels and preparing them for coating
- Applying masking and protective caps for the wave soldering process
- Inserting components into a manual programming jig
- Adding serial number labels to devices
- Checking components for correct positioning and orientation
- Filling out process control paperwork accurately
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in electronics or production work (preferred)
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work as part of a team
