Crynodeb
Owen Payne Recruitment are seeking skilled Fabricators to join our team in the Bilston area, our client is looking for somebody who wants to build their career and grow their expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for Fabricating highway products and infrastructures.
This exciting position will be a 12-week temporary to permanent assignment for the right candidate!
Hours of Work:
• PM – Monday to Thursday 14:15 till 22:30 and Friday 12:00 till 18:00
Rate of Pay:
• £17.38 afternoon shift including shift allowance
• Overtime rates
Key Responsibilities:
• Operating an overhead crane to lift, move, and position materials as needed
• Reading and interpreting drawings to determine project requirements
• Inspecting finished products for quality and ensuring they meet specifications
• Maintaining and performing routine checks on welding and fabricating equipment
• Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organised work area
Candidate Requirements:
• Must be able to read drawings
• Experience with operating overhead cranes – this is essential!
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a fabrication environment
