* Monday to Thursday: 07:45 - 17:00
* Friday: 07:45 - 13:00 (Early finish)
Overtime: Paid (subject to workload)

Job Overview
We're looking for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join our established team in West Bromwich. This is a permanent role within a busy, well-equipped workshop where you'll be working from CAD-based drawings to produce high-quality, precision fabrications. Key Responsibilities
* Read and interpret CAD drawings via the company's digital drawing database
* Set up and operate MIG and TIG welding equipment to complete jobs to specification
* Fabricate components using jigs and fixtures for precision and repeatability
* Weld materials including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and Zintec-coated steels
* Perform weld clean-up to ensure a professional, high-quality finish
* Work to tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards
* Keep your work area clean and operate in line with all Health & Safety regulations
* Report any issues or deviations to the Fabrication Manager
* Complete and sign off route cards in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
* Certified MIG and TIG welder with strong fabrication skills
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar welding role
* Proficient welding Zintec, mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
* Comfortable working on large and complex fabrications
* Able to read and understand technical drawings and 3D models
* Basic computer skills to access and work from digital drawings
Desirable:
* Experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environments
* Skilled in the use of jigs and fixtures for precision/batch production
