YOUR ROLE
Our Operation in Coalville is looking for an Operations Controller where you will have responsibility for the movement and storage of goods to and from the site. You will ensure that goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately and on time whilst ensuring the facility is maintained to client expectations.
This role will see you working Monday – Friday- 07:00AM to 03:30PM.
Due to the nature of the role and customer security clearance it is essential for the successful candidate to have resided in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting into the Operations Manager you will lead and motivate one direct report. You will ensure the efficient and effective achievement of all operational targets and ensure that customer requirements are fulfilled to the highest possible standards at all times. Your other duties will include:
Managing the site facility including maintenance and repair reporting.
Weekly fire alarm checks and monitor gas and electricity readings.
Performing requested system transactions for receipt and dispatch.
Ensuring material movements are completed throughout the building adhering to all agreed services levels.
Managing the client relationship on site and maintain a strong working relationship.
Unloading / loading vehicles.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To be successful in this role you will have gained previous experience in a similar role overseeing a facility / warehouse, working closely with a customer/client. You will be able to prioritise a busy workload with good communication skills both written and verbal and excellent attention to detail. This role is physically demanding due to the daily duties that are carried out in the warehouse.
