• Work with Accounts in proactive data deals
• Hold customer meetings and workshops for solutions development
• Work on proactive sales motions and provide support to sales during the entire deal lifecycle
• Define, design and develop architecture, system layouts and solution schematics as per the customer requirements
• Lead sales motions, deals, RFPs, RFIs and all activities around deal closures
• Carry definite TCV targets and fulfill them as annual TCV quota. Track record of making or beating revenue/TCV targets yoy
• Conceptualize solutions based on the problems discussed with client
• Participate in client meetings, whiteboard sessions, deal orals and defense meetings
• Work with internal teams and mobilize them for deal
• Perform tasks such as solution detailing, estimations, frameworks, accelerators, deal constructs, etc.
• Work and collaborate with Accounts team to develop account plans and heat maps
• Work with Data Tribe to develop newer / better solutions that are in demand


Qualifications
• Experience in data space working in pre-sales providing data solutions as Data SME
• Ideal candidate may have either moved from delivery to presales or from CoE roles to presales role. Such person is expected to have a deeper technical skills and ability to roll sleeves at client site
• Should have deeper cloud experience on one of the top three cloud providers (AWS, Azure and GCP) with customer conversational experience in other two.
• Good exposure to technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, data appliances and databases that are used in new-gen and legacy projects and architecture.
• Hands-on experience in highly technical and analytical roles
• Leading presales motions and working closely with the sales and account teams in shaping deals
• Should be able to conceptualize technical solutions and be able to provide details to solutions / delivery teams for further detailing or estimations, etc.
• Experience setting up deals, able to ponder and come up with USPs and win themes
• Be able to mobilize teams, resources and efforts in winning deals
• Should be able to handle C and V level meeting with sales
• Should be able to whiteboard with client tech team
• Should be able to take deals to closures
• Experience/understanding of all latest big data and analytics technologies
• Knowledge of managed data platforms like DataBricks, Snowflake, Cloudera, Hortonworks, DataKitchen, Dataiku, etc.
• Experience architecting, solutioning and managing large data deals ranging from $1MM to $25MM
• Experience with legacy data technologies
• Experience with technologies supporting BI reporting and dashboard development
• Excellent communications and project management skills
