Sales Associate | Mayfair (W1) | Full Time / Part Time | Working Hours are Monday to Saturday, 10am–6pm (with 1 weekday off) | £27,000 - £33,000 per annum, depending on experience

The Sales Associate is the face of both the company and the brand, and is responsible for providing customers with a complete shopping experience that is unrivalled by competitors.

Are you the right person for the job?

• Ability to meet individual sales targets and sell at every opportunity.
• Excellent communication skills to approach customers and initiate conversations with open questions
• Capability to provide accurate and current product information or find answers quickly
• Sales skills to select products meeting customer needs, highlighting features and benefits, and offering related products
• Ability to handle refunds and convert them into sales opportunities
• Knowledge and proficiency in company systems for prompt, accurate, and efficient sales transactions
• Commitment to following all Customer Service and Care Standards
• Attention to detail in product presentation, including luxury wrapping and ribboning standards
• Strong clienteling skills, maintaining secure customer information and providing bespoke one-to-one service
• Product knowledge development and market awareness
• Excellent command of English; additional foreign language skills considered a plus

What will your role look like?

Sales & Customer Service

• Meet individual sales targets by selling at every opportunity and engaging customers with open questions to establish needs, highlighting product features, benefits, and related items
• Provide accurate and current product information or find answers promptly before the customer leaves
• Handle refunds professionally, turning them into sales opportunities where possible
• Use internal systems efficiently to process sales transactions, adhering to Customer Service and Care Standards
• Attend training sessions and deliver training to other departments within the store
• Train and mentor colleagues working towards Sales Associate roles, offering support and guidance
• Ensure products are presented and packaged in a luxury manner consistent with the brand
• Communicate order arrivals to customers promptly and coordinate timely deliveries

Merchandising

• Use gloves when handling all products and ensure care in product presentation
• Present stock according to set standards (clean, correctly priced, polished, aligned)
• Manage stock replenishment, RTVs, write-offs, repairs, and update systems accordingly
• Follow correct procedures for receiving deliveries and placing orders, reporting any discrepancies to the brand
• Complete weekly spot checks of packaging/box conditions and rectify as appropriate
• Maintain cleanliness and security of stock, till points, fixtures, and stock rooms

Clienteling

• Maintain secure customer information and provide a bespoke, one-to-one service to build lasting relationships

Shopify Responsibilities

• Accurately enter all transaction types daily, including sales, refunds, and exchanges; investigate and resolve any negative entries
• Manage stock transfers promptly and retrieve sales and stock data as needed
• Complete weekly stock takes and request replenishments for packaging or presentation materials

Other

• Adhere to dress code, attendance, timekeeping, and teamwork standards
