Responsibilities
Perform regular maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles including inspections, diagnostics, and routine servicing.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic issues in a variety of vehicles.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs conducted on vehicles.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards for vehicle operations and maintenance.
Collaborate with fleet management to develop schedules for preventive maintenance and inspections.
Assist in the development and implementation of vehicle maintenance policies and procedures.
Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
Proven experience as a vehicle technician or mechanic, particularly in a fleet services environment.
Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, systems, and diagnostics procedures.
Relevant certifications in automotive technology or mechanical engineering are preferred.
Ability to use diagnostic tools, equipment, and software effectively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with management and peers.
