Summary
This role is part-time (0.6 FTE) and is half of a job share, to work Wednesday-Friday. The role would be hybrid with one day on campus, ideally the Wednesday.
Supporting the University in its strategic ambitions, the recruitment team aim to attract the best talent globally ensuring a smooth candidate experience and robust selection process. We are looking for someone who has some recruitment or general HR experience and really loves supporting an organisation to attract and hire the best. We work with our Faculties and Support services to offer expertise around sourcing, selection and candidate management. It is an exciting time to join as we begin our journey to implement a new recruitment ATS system.
What you will be doing
You will take responsibility for the end-to-end recruitment process ensuring that candidates and recruiting managers receive a standout service at all times. You will build strong relationships with regular recruiting managers, advising and guiding them throughout the recruitment process. You will use a variety of systems and internal processes to support our aim to find the best talent.
Team working is critical to the way our recruitment team operates. We are supportive, collaborative, and respectful and seek to deliver our values on a daily basis. It is a fast paced environment but you will join a team of Recruitment Leads, Coordinators and Administrators who work closely together.
You
You will have strong customer focus and the ability to advise and influence hiring managers. You will have previous experience as a recruitment coordinator or advisor either with a recruitment agency or within an internal recruitment team OR general HR experience. The ability to juggle priorities and work to deadlines with strong attention to detail is also critical. As this role is half of a job-share organisation skills and ability to work well with others is essential. Knowledge or experience in the visa application process is also ideal but not essential.
