This post is full time (35 hours p/w) and open ended with funding for up to 12 months from start date.

The post holder will lead on the development and implementation of delivering an effective and efficient Quality Management System across the Genomics Innovation Alliance. You will work closely with the NHS GGC Laboratory Genetics Quality Department and be responsible for providing specialist expertise, guidance and advice to key stakeholders ensuring compliance with operational processes, working practices and technical understanding of specific areas meet service requirements.

You will play a leading role on the review of policies, procedures, legislative requirements and working practices to ensure full compliance and operational standards are being met to meet service requirements.

In addition, the post holder will be responsible for effective monitoring and reviews of all internal and external Quality Assurance/ Control processes, overseeing the maintenance and control of records/documents, and taking appropriate remedial actions and/or escalating issues as and when appropriate.
