The amazing opportunity to work with our fantastic client in the travel industry to join them as an Assistant Management Accountant in Manchester. This company has been established in the industry for over 30 years with offices in the UK, US and Australia. You will be joining an ambitious team who are looking for their next team member.


As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will play a key role in driving financial success and business growth within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of tasks, offering you plenty of variety and a chance to broaden your skills.


What You'll Be Doing:


You will need to analyse financial data to support the company's profitability and growth. Your insights will directly influence strategic decisions, making your work essential to the company's success. You will be preparing of journal entries to produce accurate management reports, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial information that aids key decision-making. Overseeing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring every action is documented and read for review also, prepare month end and year end processes.


The role will also involve assisting with preparation of management accounts while being apart of the year-end audit deliverable. You will be having hands on experience with commercial analysis such as pricing and offering support with financial strategy. Furthermore, you will be a part of the annual budgeting process, forecasting and financial planning to enable business profitability and growth.


Experience
* Educated to degree level or equivalent
* Ideally part-qualified in ACCA, CIMA, or AAT
* Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite
* Strong working knowledge of Excel
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills
* Proven experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
