This post is 37 hours per week although flexible working hours will be considered.
We are looking for Learning and Development specialists, consultants, and EDI experts to develop and deliver learning interventions across the Council. The postholder will have a strong understanding of EDI, new learning technologies, and is experienced at providing impactful learning to a wide range of people abilities.
The role is pivotal within the Learning and Development team as we transform to a learning organisation. The EDI and Corporate learning solutions you design and deliver will facilitate learning anytime, anywhere utilising the emerging digital opportunities such as virtual reality, teams environments/channels and E-learning.
As the EDI and Corporate Learning and Development Specialist Trainer for the Council you will identify, design, develop, deliver, evaluate, and continuously review a wide range of high-quality learning and development activities and materials to ensure staff have the right skills, knowledge and competence to deliver their services.

Your learning interventions will be both proactive and responsive to the ever-changing customer/organisational needs so you will be highly agile. They will support the Councils values and competency framework and will meet the Council’s current and future objectives, statutory requirements, and inspection frameworks. The postholder will pro-actively work with services in order to build workforce skills in line with the Council’s needs.
