Communications Communicate highly complex information relating to specific service changes. This will often be contentious where proposed change has a major impact on established ways of working and there is little consensus. Use sound communication and negotiation skills together with user research evidence to overcome barriers to understanding and resistance to change where there may be conflicting interests and priorities. Make formal presentations to large groups of people often at a senior level. Facilitate workshops, show and tells, and lead communications with various users and stakeholders. Improvement and Monitoring Decision maker on a range of complex/highly complex product issues where there may be more than one course of action and where expert opinion may differ. Drive forward an iteratively developed product within a service, ensuring improvements and developments are monitored and built upon throughout the lifecycle of the product. Continually analyse performance and outcomes of a product, identifying areas for collaborative working to further the product development and improvement, working in iterative cycles. Establish performance indicators and develop a monitoring framework to ensure the performance of complex product and service issues can be measured and reported in response to local, national and programme specific requirements. Planning and Design Lead in the co-ordination and development of a product throughout its product lifecycle, delivering plans to include the scheduling of activities and milestones. Develop, support, raise awareness of and implement the product in the service. Implement agile methodologies to manage faster delivery of project outcomes. Prepare, plan, and execute the full lifecycle of planning, programme, project and product management based on best practice, from inception to implementation and final delivery sign offs. This includes development of PIDs, business cases, prioritised requirement lists, delivery plans, management approach definitions, development of sign off criteria and the preparation of product review documentation. Acknowledge the need to readjust plans when necessary, for example when the product is not achieving targets, and communicating the new effectively to relevant stakeholders.
