We primarily serve international online retailers, especially retailers in China, who do not have a physical presence or warehousing facilities in the UK.
As platforms like Temu and TikTok experience rapid growth, alongside the steady expansion of Amazon and eBay, we are scaling our team to meet rising demand. To support this growth, we are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to drive customer acquisition, particularly in East Asia, and promote our logistics and warehouse services to a wider network of global sellers.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and acquire new business clients by promoting the company’s warehousing and fulfilment services to overseas e-commerce sellers, particularly those operating on UK platforms such as Amazon, TikTok, Temu, and eBay.
• Develop tailored sales strategies to target East Asian sellers who lack a UK operational base, highlighting the benefits of using Manda’s local logistics solutions including storage, order fulfilment, return handling, and product repair.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for both new and existing customers to ensure service satisfaction, timely support, and long-term cooperation.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities in the cross-border e-commerce logistics sector.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments—including warehouse operations, customer service, and finance—to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of logistics services tailored to each client’s needs.
• Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and online platforms, delivering presentations and product overviews to enhance brand visibility and attract new leads in both English and Mandarin/Cantonese-speaking markets.
Who We’re Looking For
Qualifications & Experience:
• Proven experience in business development, marketing, sales, or key account management, preferably within logistics, e-commerce, or international trade.
• Strong understanding of cross-border e-commerce platforms (Amazon, TikTok Shop, Temu, eBay) and fulfilment models.
• Background in working with overseas clients, especially in the East Asian market.
• Experience in warehouse service promotion and client acquisition is a strong plus.
Skills & Attributes:
• Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is essential; strong English communication skills required.
• Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong cultural awareness and ability to work effectively with East Asian clients.
• Self-driven, with a results-oriented mindset and ability to work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
