An established leading UK Insurance claims management specialist who handles claims across a variety of sectors and are extremely technology driven, are now seeking an experienced Loss Adjuster to join a fast paced, forward thinking specialist claims handling organisation who are passionate about people, have a big team spirit and want to provide the best customer service.
As an experienced Loss Adjuster Leader, you will manage a small number of High Value Claims mainly domestic, and some commercial property claims as well as acting as a mentor and technical lead for existing Adjusters with lower levels of Adjusting experience with a strong focus on improving the performance and quality of the adjusting team.
You will be overseeing the Northwest region.
Key responsibilities:
• Carry out site visits and assessment to establish the cause and quantum of Insurance Property Claims
• Obtain high quality of information by investigating, supported by site notes, photographs, witness statements and any other relevant documentation.
• Make decisions regarding policy liability, quantum and subrogation and risk management issues.
• Providing a high level of technical, quality and customer service by providing exceptional communication between the various parties.
Significant Property Claims Adjusting experience.
• Construction experience would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and experience verbal, written and face to face.
• Experienced in complaints handling.
• Industry qualification - CILA or CII qualified or working towards
• Full clean driving licence.
