Summary
The NCL ICB and Provider NHS Trusts have committed to redeveloping and improving service for children and young people with Neurodiverse conditions, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). To support this, we are establishing a Programme Management Team led by a senior clinician and supported by experienced Programme and Project Management resource.
This change programme will be required to:
• Mobilise a NCL wide standardised service model across all 5 Providers
• Implement NCL Standardised Pathway, diagnostic processes and reports
• Assist in the service reconfiguration to have a distinct Borough neurodevelopmental pathway delivered by a team of highly skilled clinicians from a range of professions who can assess and diagnose neurodevelopmental disorders
The Programme Team will be responsible for developing the overall detailed project plans to support the improvements and outcomes as set out in the Project Delivery Plans, reporting into the ND (ASD/ADHD) Steering Committee.
The Project Manager has responsibility for the development and delivery of projects assigned to them, they will work across NCL to ensure the lifecycle of projects is documented, managed and supports delivery of the Neurodevelopmental (ASD/ADHD) change programme.
The Project Manager role is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects to time, on budget and the appropriate levels of quality. The key Programme is the neuro developmental service improvement work, but other project work associated with improving children’s mental health services may be assigned by the Nth London NHS Trust Director of Partnerships and Transformation. These may vary in size and scale and will include some elements of increased complexity such as political sensitivities, technical complexities or significant approach tailoring.
You will deliver projects allocated by the Neuro Developmental Programme Manager and work collaboratively with all members of the Programme Team and operational and support teams. The post holder is responsible for:
· Supporting the use of a robust, common project management approach to assist with planning and delivery of the intended outputs and outcomes
· Presenting complex information about projects, initiatives and services to a stakeholders

In order to meet the needs of the Trust you may be required from time to time to work at different locations to your normal place of work. This may mean that you are required to work at any location that fall under Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey or Islington. The Trust reserves the right to require staff to work at such other places or locations as it considers reasonable and necessary on a temporary or permanent basis.
