• ensuring all practitioners in the setting understand their responsibilities to children with SEN and the setting’s approach to identifying and meeting SEN
• advising and supporting colleagues
• ensuring parents are closely involved throughout and that their insights inform action taken by the setting, and
• liaising with professionals or agencies beyond the setting
Hours: This role is part time hours (18 hours) over 3 days, 3-6 of those hours can be worked from home. The hours will be 9-3pm however if meetings with parents are required at the beginning or the end of the day these hours will need to be flexible to cover those meetings.
Qualifications: Level 3 or above in early years. Level 3 SENCO qualification is desirable, but not essential as full training will be undertaken once in role.
SAFEGUARDING

We seek dedicated individuals who share our commitment to providing a safe environment for children, staff, families and everyone who is part of the nursery community. It is the responsibility of every member of the nursery team to promote and safeguard the welfare. Join us to make a real difference and be part of a diverse, inclusive team!
