Are you an experienced Welder ready for your next adventure? Cavendish Nuclear are seeking experienced Welders to join our team at the prestigious Hinkley Point C project. The Role
- Play a pivotal role in building the UK's clean energy future.
- Work within the MEH Alliance, collaborating effectively to deliver complex piping and cabling systems.
- Perform welding operations to a radiographic standard.
- Conduct equipment inspections.
- Adhere to established welding protocols and safety regulations, including fume control.
- Identify and report potential welding problems for corrective action.
- Ability to identify your own welds for quality control.
- Comply with established quality control procedures and documentation standards.
Skill sets required: TIG Welders required for high integrity pipe welding and Structural (MMA) Welders required for pipe supports and brackets at Hinkley Point C. Suitable candidates will be required to test out to the following ISO 9606 standards:
- SWQ-02 Butt Weld - 2" carbon steel pipe weld - 6G position - All TIG
- SWQ-02 Fillet Weld - 2" carbon steel pipe to plate - horizontal position - TIG
Or
- SWQ-70 Box to Plate - structural steel - horizontal position - MMA.
Suitable candidates must be able to evidence
- Level 2 / Apprenticeship / City & Guilds in Welding
- CCNSG Safety Passport
