The opportunity
Fantastic opportunity to join the Joint Design Office and HPC Delivery Directorate as a Welding Superintendent, playing a critical role in maintaining top-tier welding quality on one of the UK’s most regulated and prestigious nuclear construction sites.

Your duties and responsibilities will be

- Lead and support welders to achieve excellence.
- Liaise with contract partners to ensure high performance.
- Work side-by-side with SME specialists in welding, pipework, and metallurgy.
- Influence standards across a major infrastructure program.

You will have the following qualifications and experience

- Proven welding experience with leadership on large, regulated projects
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality systems
- Background in mechanical/materials engineering (Degree, HND, NVQ Level 4, or EWS/EWT/EWE)
