We have an exciting new opportunity for dynamic and driven individual to join as our Head of Technology. This person will be key
in driving our technical agenda both internally and externally.
Based: Sheffield Office S9
Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00 - 17.30
What you’ll be doing:
* Internal IT Infrastructure: Oversee the maintenance, upgrade, and management of the company's internal IT infrastructure to
ensure optimal performance and security.
* Internal Systems: Manage and enhance internal systems to support business operations, including ERP, CRM, and other enterprise
applications.
* Business Intelligence: Lead the development and implementation of business intelligence strategies to provide actionable
insights and support data-driven decision-making.
* Service Desk Management: Supervise the service desk team, ensuring they provide exceptional support to our managed services
clients and resolve issues efficiently. Mentor and develop the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and
professional growth.
* Strategic Planning: Develop and execute technology strategies that align with the company's business goals and objectives.
* Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality technology solutions
and services.
* Budget Management: Manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial targets.
* Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, and implement robust security measures to
protect company data and systems.
What we’re looking for:
* To have management experience in a similar sized, sales-driven business
* Proven coaching skills, a hands-on management style and a passion for building team confidence and capability
* A track record of identifying commercial opportunities within a team to maximise sales.
* Provision of meaningful reports including KPI reports and customer reports to Sales
* To be confident working in a team, approachable and friendly to colleagues and clients
* To be keen to learn about the latest technology.
