Your New Role:
As a Support Worker, you will assist the Manager in delivering quality care to service users both in the home and outside. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing, and toileting.
- Supporting service users with mobility and continence issues.
- Caring for ill service users and supporting their physical and social activities.
- Ensuring living areas are safe, comfortable, clean, and free from odour.
- Encouraging and assisting with meal preparation and feeding.
- Maintaining accurate records and participating in service users' meetings.
- Reporting any changes affecting the well-being of service users to the Manager.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
- Knowledge of the home's policies and procedures.
- Commitment to health and safety responsibilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of records.
- Participation in training activities and keeping statutory training up to date.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
