Your New Company:

Your New Role:

As a Support Worker, you will assist the Manager in delivering quality care to service users both in the home and outside. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing, and toileting.
  • Supporting service users with mobility and continence issues.
  • Caring for ill service users and supporting their physical and social activities.
  • Ensuring living areas are safe, comfortable, clean, and free from odour.
  • Encouraging and assisting with meal preparation and feeding.
  • Maintaining accurate records and participating in service users' meetings.
  • Reporting any changes affecting the well-being of service users to the Manager.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • Knowledge of the home's policies and procedures.
  • Commitment to health and safety responsibilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of records.
  • Participation in training activities and keeping statutory training up to date.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
